Welcome To Local 6
United We Stand
UAW Amalgamated Local 6 is a local branch of the United Automobile, Aerospace, & Agricultural Workers of America International Union. The Local's general membership meeting's are held on the second Sunday of each month at 10:30 a.m. at the union hall, with the exception of holidays falling on that Sunday then they are held on the third Sunday of that month. No regular membership meetings are scheduled for the vacation months of July and August. The Local 6 Retiree’s Chapter meets the second Wednesday of each month at 11:00 a.m. at the union hall, and during the months of January and February, these meetings are suspended. Our Amalgamated Units meet at the union hall as requested by each unit Shop Chairman.
